An independent roll of browser strategy empires, kept by our editorial team.
Bannered Hall reviews one kind of game: browser strategy titles in which you grow a settlement into a realm and share the map with other players — allying, trading, quarrelling and going to war, often in real time.
We do not host games, sell anything or run advertising. Each review leads to the publisher’s official site and nowhere else.
Who writes here
The pages are written and kept up to date by the Bannered Hall editorial team. We sign as a team rather than as individuals: every review goes through the same checks, and corrections are made by whoever spots the problem first.
What you will find
- Full reviews of each game on the roll, with strengths, faults and a note on who should pass.
- A comparison table and plain answers to common questions on the front page.
- Guides on choosing a world, on the vocabulary of alliance chat, and on keeping playtime in check.
What you will not find
- Star ratings, numeric scores or invented player counts.
- Sponsored placements, affiliate links or referral codes.
- Downloads, unofficial servers or modified game files.
Four languages
The Hall is published in English, Italian, Hungarian and Finnish. Each version is written for its own readers rather than translated word for word, and every page links to its counterparts.
